The White Hag Brewery requires a dedicated individual with exceptional commercial acumen, specifically on focusing on commercial opportunities, to join our team. The role will focus on research on new commercial opportunities for The White Hag, in addition to maintain and improving its current activities.

 

The job will be based in Ireland, at the company headquarters in Sligo, with regular travel to Dublin and occasional abroad.

 

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Research and analysis of new commercial opportunities
  • Provide management team with market feedback and planning insight
  • Gather, collating, provide feedback and interpretation of information for product development
  • Research and create new product launch commercial strategies
  • Development and management of commercial initiatives
  • Understanding and adapting local market behaviour and expectations, and shaping the business’ communications and brand behavior requirements
  • Design product advocacy and management programmes
  • Weekly, quarterly and annual business planning with senior management

 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • International market research and understanding of commercial challenges
  • Commercial development acumen and experience
  • Strategic management and leadership
  • Ability to develop and direct commercial management team
  • Develop and implement the company commercial strategy
  • Relevant third level qualification, ideally level 8+ on Fetac NFQ
  • Very strong technical and practical abilities using a wide variety of software and IT services, including MS Office, communication and information sharing tools
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills across cultures and borders
  • 5-10 years experience in a similar leadership role, with experience of commercial, brand and business development
