An imperial red ale. Deeply malty; with hints of honey, caramel, and peat. Full-bodied with a chewy mouthfeel, and a slight alcoholic warmth.

Ingredients: Water, barley, wheat, heather, yeast.

A resurrection of an ancient beer style brewed in Ireland from the neolithic era; up until the 1700’s. This Gruit Ale utilizes Irish Heather tops in place of hops to balance the sweet, rich malts used. Since these ancient brewers would not have known what yeast was, fermentation was carried out by wild yeasts and bacteria creating a naturally tart ale. Festival special we decided to age this beautiful Gruit in a classic French red wine barrel for extra depth of flavour.

The Irish lovechild of a Belgian Witbier and an American IPA. Similar colour, body and esters as a Witbier with noticeable hop aroma, flavor and bitterness.

  • 5.0% ABV : 18 INU

Ingredients: Water, barley, wheat, oats, orange peel, coriander, heather, yeast.

A belgian-style witbier made with Irish heather, bitter orange peel, and coriander seed. Refreshingly light-bodied with hints of banana and clove from the yeast. Starts sweet and earthy, yet finishes dry, forced through Valencia orange peel rocket for extra zing.
