The Role
Logistics and Warehousing Manager
You’ll be reporting to and working alongside the Managing Director, working in a fast paced environment, with a huge amount of autonomy & responsibility to manage inbound and outbound logistics, in addition to warehousing and stock management.
There is a huge opportunity to grow in this role alongside our business, gaining experience in FMCG product distribution. You don’t need to know much or anything about beer, you’ll learn that while here!
Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set.
Tasks
- Warehouse management and operations
- Inbound logistics and stock management
- Outbound logistics planning & order fulfilment
- Preparation of Customs and shipping documentation
- Inventory management for production and distribution
- Daily operation with supply chain management system
- Weekly planning meeting with production and sales team
Skills and qualifications
- Previous working experience in a similar role
- Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, Excel, Google Sheets)
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational skills with a practical awareness to operating and managing the warehouse
- BA in Supply Chain Management, Transport/Warehousing management, Accounting Technician or similar
