Travelling to Hagstravaganza…

To make your journey to the festival is safe and quick as possible we’ve provided you with travel options from Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Galway. The majority of our attendees stay in Sligo town and the surrounding area. Ballymote is located just over 20 minutes south of Sligo town and is catered for by the Sligo-Dublin train line. You will find that the majority of our attendees will be going and coming on this train.

…on Friday 26th

Previously reserved for Barrel Adopters only, we’re now opening it up for those who purchase an all-in ticket for the Barrel Aged talks and tasting. Doors will open at 7pm and close at 9.30pm. This will leave you with enough time to catch the 10.03pm train back to Sligo.

…on Saturday 27th

We’re opening up early at 1.30pm and will be closing the doors at 9.30pm. There is an exclusive White Hag Train booked to bring everyone into Sligo Town to continue the celebrations. Over the past few years The White Hag Train has become a staple part of the Hagstravaganza experience and is one not to miss! Although one of guest brewers did miss it last year… (We found him a lift back thankfully)

For day travelers from Dublin the last train is now at 19.23 – an extra 1.5 hours for craft beer goodness.
