Intern (July/August)
Event Executive/Logistics

As an Intern with The White Hag, you will work on projects for the brewery, mainly our HAGSTRAVAGANZA International Brewery Festival. The role is a paid internship for 2 months, starting immediately.

Your regular, day-to-day tasks will include:

-Assisting in planning and executing the overall festival plans

-Finding and working with 3rd party suppliers for our event

-Supporting the senior management team with document preparation, materials orders, beer and equipment deliveries and overall organisation

– Assisting in hospitality management for visiting breweries and guests

-Planning and overseeing activations for the event

-Working on all areas of the events from prepping digital marketing content, to assisting with venue dressing, set up, health and safety and event management

– Working on other elements of our day-to-day operations in the run up to the event

 

Working alongside a dedicated management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our event are activated fully and in the best possible manner. You must be outgoing, innovative, interested and committed, or you won’t enjoy this role!

The successful candidate should possess the following:

-A passion for events and event management, both personally and professionally

-A strong understanding of Social and Digital Media, and digital communications

-Working in a fast-paced team and keeping a cool head under pressure

-Knowledge of software systems, MS Office, and strong general computer skills

– An understanding of the on and off trade alcohol market is a benefit but not essential

– Accuracy and attention to detail

-Making tea and coffee!

-Full drivers licence a benefit.
