What people say about us

"Had a great tour of their brewery and tasted some great beers. Their IPA has a lower alcohol content than your normal IPA in the US, and dare I say their stout is smoother than Guinness. They also have a great lager, dark lager, and sour. If you're vacationing in Sligo and you want to find some great local beer, this is the brand to look out for."

"Great experience with my old university pals on the tour of the White Hag Brewery! Ruairi was the font of all knowledge on the brewing process and very happy to take our questions! Some great beers to sample as well, they’ve got a new fan of their beer range! Great stuff Paul, Ruairi and Bob for your warm hospitality on the day."

STEPHEN M, 08/04/2025

"Though beer is generally not my first beverage choice, I'm always up for learning more about a product - how it's made, how to evaluate it, what make's it different. I have toured a few other breweries, but White Hag's tour is, by far, the best of the ones I've experienced -- I learned a lot and was impressed by the enthusiasm and knowledge that Bob, Paul and Rory shared with us! And I do enjoy, and will order when I see it on offer, a White Hag beverage. I heartily recommend this brewery, and this tour, to any and all."

Molly R, 22/07/2025

"Bob, Paul and Raori gave a great tour of this thriving business! Interesting selection of beers for the tasting; the Black Boar stout is amazing!."

Marilyn M, 20/07/2025

"Have not had a chance to visit the brewery yet but have tried most of their beers at this stage. The Clann subscription box is great for getting to try new beers that you may not normally try, and with bonuses on the online shop for members, and a monthly guest beer! Next day delivery is great too. Cracking seasonal and core brews."
